Privacy policy.
What we collect when you contact us, what we do with it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. In plain English.
Who we are
DOJO Digital Ltd. (“DOJO Digital”, “we”, “us”) is a digital marketing agency based in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through dojodigital.ca, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions go to our Privacy Officer at admin@dojodigital.ca.
What we collect
When you fill in our form or book a call, you give us:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your business name, website and city, if you include them
- Which service you want help with, and anything else you choose to tell us
We also record which page you sent the form from and, if you arrived from an ad, the campaign details in the link (such as UTM tags or a Google click ID). Our analytics tools collect general information about visits, such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and send you a confirmation that we received it
- To run your Digital Presence Audit and walk you through what we find
- To follow up about the services you asked about, and to provide them if you become a client
- To understand which pages and ads bring in enquiries, so we can improve our site and advertising
We do not sell your information
We never sell or rent your personal information. We don't add you to marketing newsletters from the form. We share information only with the service providers below, who process it on our behalf, or when the law requires it.
Where it is stored
We use these service providers:
- HighLevel (GoHighLevel): our customer relationship system, where form submissions, bookings and our emails to you are stored and sent.
- Vercel: hosts this website and provides privacy-friendly visit statistics.
- Google Analytics: measures how visitors use the site.
These providers may store and process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under the laws of that country. We choose providers that protect personal information with safeguards comparable to our own.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart. It does not give us your name or contact details. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on. The site works normally either way.
How long we keep it
If you contact us and don't become a client, we delete your information within one year of your last contact with us. If you become a client, we keep it for as long as we work together, and afterwards only as long as we need it for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Stop contacting you, or delete your information
Email admin@dojodigital.ca and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
How we protect it
Only the people at DOJO Digital who need your information to help you can access it. Our providers protect it with encryption and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
Changes and complaints
We'll update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top will show when. If you have a concern, please contact us first at admin@dojodigital.ca. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
